Blog 3- The Ongoing Problem That Has a Name

The problem that has no names is the unhappiness or discontent women have due to the societal norms and reinforced roles they are born into. This problem has no name because it never spoken about by women. The feminine mystique is the idea of how women should act. The roles they are required to fill in society. I think this mystique is promoted because it is the most efficient way. Over time we have discovered roles for both genders that have helped us become a stronger and more competitive society. Without these roles our country/humanity would not work as efficiently or effectively. I would agree that some of these roles are not enjoyable or as glamorous, but both men and women must follow their roles in order to keep balance.
